Artistic Statement:
I have been involved in photography since I was a child. I am entirely self-taught, although I worked with the late Minor White on various projects. I have mastered many aspects of the medium, ranging from traditional processes to digital imaging. My artistic approach is eclectic, and I have photographed in locales as diverse as Ireland, Botswana, Nepal, and Bosnia. I believe that Minor White described my photographs accurately, writing that my photographs have “an overwhelming sense of humanistic and symbolic presence.”
